Learn The Harp Membership Agreement & Live Lessons Policies


This Membership Agreement (the Agreement) is effective by the date at the bottom of this agreement, by and between Harpli LLC, hereinafter referred to as Harpli, accessed via https://harpli.com with a business address of PO Box 572, Fort Garland, Colorado 81133, and all current and future members of Harpli LLC hereinafter referred to as "Member".

 

By accessing, browsing, or using the https://harpli.com website or by selecting I Accept during the membership registration, you represent that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Membership Agreement hereinafter referred to as Agreement.

 

  1. Nature of the Service

This site and service is for Education and Community. The Community is a social network facilitating the exchange of personal information between people. This socialization shall include reading the profile pages of other members and possibly even contacting them. The Harpli website works like an online community of internet users. The Community aspects of the site are FREE to all registered users such as: User profile, posting in the community feed, private messages, and the creation of public or private groups. The Educational service provides to its members benefits such as but not exclusive to: access to 1,000’s of prerecorded educational videos, Coaching Calls, Live and prerecorded workshops, 1-on-1 instruction from a harp instructor, and more depending on your membership level or levels.

  1. LIVE Zoom Harp lessons & Harprenuer Coaching Sessions are scheduled and paid for in advance via our booking engine.
  2. All lesson & coaching session dates and times for the month will be scheduled by the student on the platform. The booking engine will email confirmations for each lesson/session booked and you will see them reflected on your profile calendar.
  3. All payments are handled by our ecommerce platform and will be reflected in your account. All members must keep a credit/debit card on file. If the card on file does not charge as scheduled, the member must provide an alternate payment method within 4 days to avoid an additional late fee of $10. An NSF Fee of $25 may be assessed to your account if repeated payments do not go through. Additionally, Harpli may terminate your account and reduce your account to the free version, removing access to all paid features including any scheduled live Zoom lessons, if payment is more than 4 days late.
  4. If a lesson needs to be rescheduled for any reason you can change your booking via the booking engine (make up lessons/sessions subject to harp instructor or Harprenuer Coach availability and may be delivered through group sessions or recorded videos).

Refunds for canceled lessons/sessions will not be issued. No rescheduling for lessons canceled less than 48 hours in advance (please inform your harp instructor/Harprenuer coach or support as soon as possible if you are unable to make the lesson). 

  1. Program tuition is collected by automatically charging to your card on file each week:
    1. Harpli’s Free registration is just that Free. There is no monthly fee to join or access the community. Your free membership also includes discounts on sheet music
    2. Should you upgrade to a paid plan harp student tuition is $19.97 per week and includes access to all Learn The Harp curriculum and videos, the ability to submit videos to your harp instructor illustrating your progress and personalized instruction from a harp instruction in response via Your Virtual Harp Studio. Also includes access to our Virtual Ensemble, online tools, deeper discounts on sheet music, and discounts on booking live lessons.
      1. Harp students can also choose to go PRO for an additional $9.97/week and get 1 30 min LIVE lesson with a harp instructor per month, deeper discounts on booking additional LIVE lessons, exclusive discounts on sheet music, and access to additional workshops & bootcamps as available.
  2. Live Lessons & live coaching sessions will be provided through video chat over a Zoom integration directly inside the harpli platform.
  3. Students are highly encouraged but not required to participate in the virtual ensembles, and other performance opportunities. Students are encouraged to video record themselves playing and share with others inside the community feed as a way to get used to performing.
  4. To make the most of any booked LIVE Lesson or coaching session:
    1. Students are expected to have practiced regularly before the call
    2. Please tune your harp before your session begins
    3. Log into your harpli platform and navigate to your Zoom tab a few minutes early to ensure everything (camera, mic, headphones, and lighting) is working and ready for your call
  5. When canceling your subscription you will lose access to your progress, course materials, and discounts that are not designated free. You will lose any discounts on currently booked and future bookings and may have to pay additional fees to access your LIVE scheduled lessons or coaching sessions.

 

  1. User Registration and Information

Member shall fill in the correct information requested in the User Registration form on the site. Member shall be required to promptly update the User Information on the site. Member shall select a username and password during the User Registration process. Member shall be responsible for: a) all use of the Site made by the Members username and password, and b) maintaining the confidentiality of the Members username and password. Member must not create a profile impersonating another individual or group. Such an act with result in immediate ban from Harpli and the Community.

 

  1. Content

The Content includes messages and other materials posted to forums, groups, or other locations on the Site by the members of the Harpli Community. Members of the Harpli is deemed to grant the Harpli  the nonexclusive right to post, display, copy, and modify the Content in connection with the operation of the Site and the Harpli's business. Further, the Member is deemed to grant Harpli  the nonexclusive right to post, display, copy, and sell the Content within the limitations set by the Member during the online publishing process. Member is also deemed to authorize Harpli to disclose his/her personal data when the Member includes such personal data in the content. Additionally the content includes instructional videos created by professional harp instructors for the purpose of teaching its members to play the harp as well as grow a sustainable harp business. Any business coaching content is intended to be instructional in nature and any member utilizing the content is encouraged to due their own due diligence. Any claims in testimonials do not guarantee the members outcome. All members must put forth their best effort to follow all direction and complete all the homework tasks to see a net positive benefit from the courses, coaching, and content presented on this site.

 

  1. Release

If the Member has a dispute with one or more other Members, the Member shall release the Harpli (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

 

  1. Privacy

Harpli shall not sell or rent Members personal information to third parties without Members explicit consent. Harpli shall store and process Members information on computers located in the United States that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices. However, Harpli shall be permitted to access and modify Members information.

 

  1. Indemnity

Member shall indemnify and hold Harpli (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Members breach of this Agreement, or Members violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

 

  1. No Agency

No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchiser-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this Agreement.

 

  1. Terminating Membership

Member shall choose to retire or delete the published content from Harplis site and it shall be no longer available or visible to other visitors. Terms regarding the status of the uploaded content shall remain applicable when the Member chooses to terminate the membership. Contents posted to the site, other than the published content, shall not be deleted or retired as a result of the Members termination.

 

  1. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be construed under and governed in accordance with the laws of Colorado.

 

  1. Arbitration.

Any dispute arising under this contract shall be resolved under th

e commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

Member shall not hold Harpli responsible for other user Members content, actions or inactions.
